64: Not enough balance paid down over time on real estate secured loans
A real estate secured loan can be a first mortgage, a home equity loan, or a home equity line of credit. The amount that has been paid down on your open real estate loans is low. People who haven't paid down much of their real estate balances are higher credit risk than people who have.
As monthly real estate payments are made, a portion of the outstanding principal balance is reduced, benefitting your score. Whenever possible, further pay down balances on your real estate accounts. Over time this will also have a positive impact on your score.
